Got a Problem? Need some Advice?
Most young people have problems or need advice at sometime or another so if you are experiencing any problem, if your are worried about something, if you need some advice or information then you are not alone.

Teens in Crisis helps hundreds of young people who live in Gloucestershire aged 11-21 and need help every year. This page will tell you about the different types of help that are available to you and how you can get hold of it. Back to top
Getting Advice by logging onto Internet Advice Pages
The internet is great way of getting hold of some useful help without having to face anyone. There are loads of fantastic sites that offer some great information, help or advice on virtually every subject going.

On the left hand sife of this screen you will see our Links button. Click here and then follow the links for young people.

You will discover lots of sites with great advice. If the issue you are seeking help for is not listed then you can email us requesting we put a link up. We will do our best to find a good site within five days. Back to top
Getting Advice and Support by Email
If you have a specific problem and you would like some help and advice by email then you can email one of our advisors today.

On the left hand side of the screen you will find our Email Us button. Click on this and email us with your problem. We will send you a reply in complete confidence within five days.

Getting advice and support by talking on the telephone
We do not provide a helpline however if you want to talk to someone over the phone then here are a list of helplines that you may find useful.

Getting support by speaking with someone face to face
At Teens in Crisis we can offer young people who live in Gloucestershire the opportunity to talk to someone face to face for counselling.

It is totally free and all you need to do is call 01594 544281 or email us and ask if you can have some counselling.

If you over 14 we do not need to tell your parents, but if you are under 14 we will need your parents permission.

The counsellor will ask for your name and age and where you live (not your full address if you don't want to give it) and take a contact number or email so they can let you know a date and time.

Within 4-6 weeks you will be able to meet with someone face to face at one of our centres. We will give you directions. Back to top
Getting Help by Texting someone
At the moment this is hard to come by and we are working hard to get hold of numbers you can text for help, however we have found one.
