Parentline Plus runs a freephone helpline, courses for parents, develops innovative projects and provides a range of information.

Runnaways The ASTRA project has the primary aim of reducing the incidence of persistent running away. ASTRA provides support, advice and information to young people up to the age of 18 who have run away. This might be from their family home, foster home or residential unit. Astra works with anyone under 18 whose family home is in Gloucestershire, including young people living away from home. The ASTRA project is overseen by a multi-agency steering group and managed by Gloucestershire Youth & Community Service. ASTRA has gained national recognition for its work with young runaways and has been recognised as a model of good practice. I
